The Evergreen Market, rated the number one store in the State by King 5’s “Best of Washington,” and the top retailer in King County, is opening their third location in King County. This store, which is located near IKEA at the corner of East Valley Highway and Benson Hill, will be among the largest retail stores in the state, with nearly 3000 square feet of sales floor. Featuring barn wood, twisted willow, and steel, the store will feature the same signature design elements that led to the Auburn location being named the number two store in the country in Architectural Digest.
The owner, Jeff Anderson, commented “This store is going to represent the very highest level of aesthetics, customer service and shopping experience, of any store in the Country. We have worked hard to create a brand that represents quality, passion, and a commitment to an industry that we are all proud to be a part of.” The store will be opening May 12, 2017.
The Evergreen Market was founded in 2014 by Eric Gaston, Jeff Anderson & Arne Nelson. They are three dads from Issaquah who met while their daughters were in the YMCA Y-Princesses. Each of the founders have diverse backgrounds, and it was their shared vision to create a whole new way to experience retail cannabis that led them to opening Renton’s first cannabis store in 2015.
There are currently two stores: in Auburn, WA and Renton, WA. The Evergreen Market was voted Best Cannabis Store in Washington by King 5 Evening Magazine Viewers in 2016. The Evergreen Market is committed to supporting the communities they serve and they look forward to their continued involvement in Renton and the surrounding community.
