SWEET LEAF: Luxury Service, Affordable Product

By: Katie Spivak

People

At first impression, Sweet Leaf employees appear passionate and positive. These cannabis industry professionals serve a wide variety of customers, located in the social hub of downtown Denver. Every staff member possesses a friendly attitude and informative tone; they are happy to let customers smell, touch and closely view the many strains of flower.

Place

The store itself offers a sleek design with a simple, yet bright and approachable vibe. Wood grain accents against white and blue furnishings make for a classic, straightforward, spacious ambience. Coupled with free valet, upbeat music and quick service, Sweet Leaf seems to have mastered the retail operation of the weed world. The RiNo Art District is a culturally diverse neighborhood, constantly bustling and very walkable. Many bars, restaurants and dynamic events happen in this beautiful corner of the Mile High City, so this location is lucky to have plenty of foot traffic and interesting people to serve. In addition to the RiNo store, Sweet Leaf has eight other Colorado dispensaries, with additional storefronts in Oregon state.

Product

Sweet Leaf is home to the $100 ounce—$120, post-tax! This deal applies to any strain, so you know they aren’t playing around. Popular choices include Hibiscus Sunrise, Mob Boss, Super Northern Haze and Pootie Tang. Coda Signature products fly off the shelves here, as well as a healthy roster of artisan concentrates including Better Concentrates, Craft Concentrates, Green Dot and Quest Concentrates. Sweet Leaf also promotes a different deal for every day of the week, like Munchie Monday, which gives customers a buy one, get one half off edible purchase. Other days include Foggy Friday, with deals on vaporizers, pens and accessories, and Slabs on Sundays, with 20 percent off all concentrates.
