Business Name: Urban Pharm
The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable of the products available in the store. In addition, the dab bar gives patients an opportunity to try concentrates at the dispensary. The budtenders guided us through this adeptly and with the highest degree of customer care. It is rare to feel like the only person at a dispensary, but I never felt rushed and everyone was happy to answer all of my questions. If I were a new MMJ patient, I would be thrilled to have this level of attention given to me.
Once you pass through the doorway of Urban Pharm, you leave behind the grit and grime of the Mission for their soothing steampunk serenity. The look and feel is the Old West meets the apocalypse. Reggae music and positive vibes from the staff offer a welcoming introduction. We first familiarized ourselves with Urban Pharm’s smokers’ lounge—one feature that separates them from the competition. In the tobacco-free lounge, you can smoke cannabis using house glass pieces, adding to the friendly feel of the dispensary as a whole.
To get a nice sampling of everything Urban Pharm has to offer, I picked up a Korova Black Bar and two Tarantulas by Ganjagold (Platinum Jack and OG Kush). In addition, we grabbed some delicious Lemonhead OG and some Dr. Cookies, which took second place at the HT Cannabis Cup. Last but not least, we grabbed Lift Ticket’s rosin-covered medicated rolling papers designed for the true connoisseur of the self-rolled joint, and took our collection to the smokers’ lounge. As always the medicine delivered. We nibbled the Korova, passed the self-rolled Lemonhead OG wrapped in the Lift Ticket and finished off with the smooth deliciousness of the Tarantula. Just another day on the Urban Pharm.
