Walking into Green-Theory in Bellevue, the welcoming environment is one of the first and foremost vibes being presented to customers. Their progressive attitude toward the cannabis industry is woven into the experience of visiting this eastside gem—where connoisseurs and novices alike can co-mingle while navigating this impressive shop. As manager Rachel Emadi said, “We have a very warm environment. Our focus is not getting you out the door quickly—it’s about finding the customer the right product for what they’re looking for. We’re not afraid to take the time.” Holding the title of Bellevue’s first recreational cannabis store, their goal of normalizing the conversation in the community remains an undoubted priority. As Rachel further remarked, “We are conscious of the relationship we must have with our community We are responsible for what legal marijuana looks like to Bellevue and beyond.”

The People

An impeccable level of knowledge exists within the Green-Theory staff, where individual experiences are continually being enhanced by the ongoing commitment to cannabis education. Daily meetings are held that keep staff members engaged and informed regarding various industry and product-related topics. As Rachel noted, “Sales associates are encouraged to ask questions often to develop a clear and concise understanding that can be relayed to our customers. A few recent topics included potency analysis, terpene synergy and the variations of colors seen in cannabis concentrates.” With this progressive approach leading the way, customers are encouraged to strike up a conversation with the Green-Theory staff—you’ll likely emerge a bit more intelligent.
