Owner Alfred “The Good” has obviously instilled a sense of kindness and community in his staff at The Good Dispensary. I was greeted with a smile and invited to the counter for check in upon entrance. The receptionist took down my info, eliminating the tedious form procedure, which added a personal touch to the experience. Before long, my budtender Jeremy whisked me away to the product floor. He was friendly and knowledgeable, spending a substantial amount of time with me, ensuring I discovered the product that was right for me.
I walked away with two outstanding strains, in flower form, from their grow, Acapulco Gold and Marmalate. They had a large selection of strains, mostly from “The Garden of Eden,” the fitting name of their exclusive grow. There were a few guest strains as well, but the Acapulco Gold and Marmalate were calling my name, and absolutely hit the spot. Although I only selected flower, the dispensary is a one-stop shop with an array of paraphernalia and features brands such as Baked Bros, K.I.N.D., Vital and RAW. They also have a full display station for CBD products, including their CBD Therapy strain, 2nd place winner of the 2017 Errl Cup.
Having only been open for two months, the dispensary sees more than 150 patients a day, and that number continues to rise. The buzz about their prices, business ethics, dedication to medication and patient reward program is also on the up and up. The patient reward program gives 10 percent back to patients to renew their MMJ card, and they even provide a free doctor on site every Saturday. “Now that we have quality and knowledge out of the way,” states Alfred, “we can focus on expansion.” Needless to say, I can’t wait until my next trip to The Good Dispensary.
