DOPE Magazine is experiencing hyper growth and needs to hire Regional Account Managers for our Seattle, WA call center to help us keep up! We are looking for highly skilled individuals who are passionate about sales, familiar with selling digital and/or print advertising, and excited about the cannabis industry and culture!

The Job (Summary of Duties & Responsibilities):

  • Local and National sales – 100% focused over the phone
  • Lead prospecting
  • Customer service and account management
  • Sales administration and clerical duties
  • Invoice processing
  • Pipeline maintenance
  • Cell phone and personal computer required

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years minimum experience in a call center
  • Closer from start to finish
  • Lead prospecting, solution selling, effective opportunity/pipeline management, rapport building, time management, and strong closing skills
  • High volume of daily cold calls
  • Proficient with CRM systems, Office, electronic calendars, and email.
  • Persistence and aggressiveness
  • Respect for the chain of command
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written

Compensation:

Base + commission. The first three months has escalating quotas. Commissions include monthly residuals, account rep would retain the client list they build. Eligible for promotion after six months. Long-term employees have high earning potential.

We’ve built an incredibly well known brand in print, and now we need you to bring it life in digital form. Our ideal candidate is a fearless self-starter with the ability to make insight based decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment. In addition to a deep understanding of SEO, social analytics and audience development, cross-departmental collaboration skills will be essential to success in this role. You’ll frequently partner with our Brand, Design, Video and Editorial teams, so you’ll need to have your finger on the pulse of both what’s happening at DOPE and across the world of digital marketing.

Most importantly, you must have a passion for making the world a better place and a desire to bring the DOPE mission to life by getting our content in front of millions of readers who haven’t discovered our content… yet.

Responsibilities

-Managing and supervising Digital team

-Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns

-Design, build and maintain social media presence

-Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

-Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights

-Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies

-Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests

-Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience

-Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points

-Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels

-Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners

-Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Requirements

-BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field

-4+ year experience MINIMUM in digital field

-Proven success in digital marketing – both in paid and organic

-Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns

-Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

-Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels

-Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments

-Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, FB Insights NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)

-Working knowledge of ad serving tools

-Experience in setting up and optimizing Adwords, Facebook and Twitter campaigns

-Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints

-Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

-Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

– Experience setting up scalable processes

– An eye for details and quantitative mind

– A passion for new projects, and a desire to venture into the unknown

The ideal candidate will wear multiple hats, be technology savvy, meet deadlines, and work great under pressure.

The Job (Summary of Duties):

As the Los Angeles Office Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of the SoCal Regional Magazine. Additional duties for this position include to directly assist the State Director in support of community participation and customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

-Ordering Supplies

-Answering Phones

-Manage State Mailers/Subscriptions

-Distribution Administration/Paperwork

-DOPE Event administration/assistance

-Community Outreach, Public Relations, and community events administration

-Weekly office maintenance and organization.

-Directly assist State Director with day to day operations

-Update Sales, Content, and Distribution Spreadsheets

Editorial:

– Proofing for CA

– Help manage and track content for CA

– Receive and upload ads to flatplan for CA

– Regional content bank invoicing

– CA content provider invoicing

– Manage flatplan and consolidate page count for CA

– Seek products, stores, and gardens for CA

– Seek stores for distribution to help content providers

– Manage and seek new content providers

Sales:

– Track contracts and maintain online contract database for CA

– Manage and update sales sheets for CA

– Account maintenance and customer service support

– Work with sales executives to utilize content to support sales

Accounting:

– Track payments received

– Deposit checks

Qualifications:

-Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

-Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

-Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team

Position Type:
